With tax season approaching, hundreds of thousands of Massachusetts older adults, workers, and families could be eligible for cash that can help cover rent, groceries, and other essentials. During this presentation, members of the Healthy Families Tax Credits Coalition, including Carley Ruemmele, Research and Policy Analyst at Children’s HealthWatch, and Angela Divaris and Luz Arevalo, Senior Attorneys at Greater Boston Legal Services, will share information about the tax credits available this season, including the Senior Circuit Breaker Tax Credit, the Earned Income Tax Credit, and Child and Family Tax Credit.
We will also share information about FindYourFunds.org, a free tax filing resource for Massachusetts residents, which provides information about tax credits, where and how to file your taxes for free, and answers frequently asked tax filing-related questions.
