February 2026 | Outreach Meeting: How to be a SNAP Outreach Partner

Description

Jayna Mistry, SNAP Program Manager at UMMS Chan Medical School, and Lorraine Ward, Director of Food Access and Nutrition at the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), will present about the SNAP Outreach Partner program. 

The presentation will cover: an overview of the project, how your COA can qualify to participate, what are the benefits of being an outreach partner, what are the requirements of being a partner, and what type of support is provided. This session is tailored to Councils on Aging, and there will be time for questions.
