Join AGE in their 8th annual Step Challenge!
Falls Prevention Awareness week is:
September 21, 2026 – September 25, 2026
The Care Continuum Team at the Executive Office of Aging & Independence invites you to raise awareness on falls prevention.
Join us in our 8th annual Step Challenge!
This year, we are stepping up our statewide goal to collectively achieve 100 Million Steps!
Here’s how it works – throughout the month of September simply take a walk (or a run) in the name of falls prevention. Use your own step counter or count each mile as 2,500 steps.
Log your steps here: https://app.keysurvey.com/f/41847677/2f84/
You can log your steps each time you walk/run or submit the grand total at the end of September. Family, friends, and pets are welcome to join. We encourage you to share the challenge with your staff, community partners and older adults in your community.
Share your results, thoughts, and/or photos using #MAFallsPrevention.
All steps should be submitted by Friday, October 9, 2026.
