Working as part of a team in our Supportive Day Program, provide hands-on assistance to senior citizens during daily program and living activities such as walking, eating, grooming and personal care. Assist with the arrival and departure of day care clients, assist with planned social and other activities. Lead group participation in the daily physical and exercise program. Take participants for walks, to plays and other social outings. Setup, organize and lead individual games (checkers, parchesi, cards, bowling, golf and such) and other activities including gardening, art, reading and story telling; discussion groups and other participatory functions. Provide encouragement, stimulation and emotional support to program participants.
