The Town of Natick is seeking candidates for the role of Director of Council on Aging & Human Services. The successful candidate will serve as a member of the leadership team within the Community Services Department.

The Council on Aging & Human Services division organizes and delivers services and programs which improve the quality of life for those aging in our community through education, support and advocacy.  The Director of Council on Aging & Human Services is responsible for the leadership, planning, organizing, budgeting and evaluating the activities and staff of the Council on Aging & Human Services.

The Director of Council on Aging & Human Services will work with the Community Services Director and leadership team to collaborate and redefine the way services are provided to the incredible Town we call Natick.

Education and Experience: 

The Director of Council on Aging & Human Services must fulfill the following qualifications or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.   

1. Master’s degree in public administration or related field with three (3) years of experience.

2. Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience in municipal services or a related field with increasing responsibility.

3. Proven experience with aging services agencies, program development, volunteer management, grants management, and supervision may be substituted.

4. Valid Driver’s License. 

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting salary will range from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time exempt position. Natick offers excellent employee benefits.
