Outreach Coordinator
The City of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the full time, in person position of Outreach Coordinator for the Council on Aging department. Under the general direction from the Director of Elder Services, this position ensures the well-being, autonomy, safety and other individual needs of senior citizens and their families throughout the Gloucester community. Provides referrals for seniors and their families to access local, state and federal networks for available elder services. Oversees the provision of S.H.I.N.E. (Serving Health Insurance Needs for Everyone) counseling services for elders and their families. Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work, Gerontology or related field required (Masters Preferred). Social Work license required or willingness and ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
