Georgetown Senior Community Center – Town of Georgetown

The Town of Georgetown is seeking a qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic individual for the full-time position of Program and Volunteer Coordinator at the Georgetown Senior Community Center. This position is 32 hours per week and includes benefits.

The Program and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating a variety of social, recreational, and educational programs, as well as special events for the Senior Center. The role also includes the recruitment, training, and management of volunteers and interns.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Human Services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use the MySeniorCenter database.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required.

Position Details:

  • Salary: $22.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (32 hours/week)
