Town of Walpole Council on Aging is seeking applicants for a part-time pp to 35 hours/week (average is 30) Van Driver. Must be HS graduate or GED equivalent and hold a valid state license. Commercial driver's license endorsement (CDL) Class B Passenger preferred. Computer skills desired. Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving. Some knowledge of senior services and needs. Performs variety of transportation duties with general guidance from the Department Head. Interacts frequently with public, ability to respond appropriately to emergency or challenging situations. Provides scheduling coordination with the COA team, plans for and prepares efficient routes of travel, maintains mileage log for monthly reporting, maintains cleanliness of vehicle, and other duties to upkeep, scheduling and use of vehicles. $22.58-$29.79/hr.
